Karen Decker - Owner/Center Director
Karen Decker is our on-site owner and center Director. She has over 25 years of experience in the early childhood field. As the mother of four, she understands what it feels like to be a parent, and the anxiety of choosing a quality childcare center for your family.
Hand In Hand Children’s Center opened in 2000. Previous to that, Karen had established and operated a Christian based program for seven years at Christ UMC. When the opportunity to open her own center came along, Karen brought her ministry experience and combined it with her strong philosophy that children who feel happy, secure, and self- confident will thrive both academically and socially in a loving and caring environment. Karen has successfully combined a quality “Kindergarten readiness” preschool curriculum with a unique “family feel” child care center.
